It's a very sad reality for me this year. Work constraints are going to mean we cannot open The Haunted Shack this year at any time. I have a film project due November 2 and will not be able to take off time to setup for the haunt. This would have been our 10th consecutive year and I was really looking forward to celebrating that success! But alas, we are a very small crew setting up for weeks for 3 hours of pure fun on Halloween. Bittersweet still is that we were videotaped last year for a show which aired this year on HGTV: What's With That House?. You can see it in the above video. And watch I AM LEGEND in theaters December 14th, it'll be a great thriller! But definitely stop by to trick-or-treat and say "hi", or check out another local haunt this year. We always love to hear from everyone and appreciate any help for 2008! On the plus side I'll get to see other haunts during the Halloween season, go trick-or-treating with my young children for once, and I'll be working on a cool thriller the entire time.
